Each year, since I’ve started Arguing With Myself, I’ve tried to do themes. My first was giving The Mrs💋 the whole month of October for her love of horror. Aside from that, each Friday, I have some form of trivia, I call Fun Friday Trivia. Because of my love of Christmas, when December first comes around, it then becomes Festive Friday Trivia.
One year, I think I shot my wad where I incorporated myself into the posters for Christmas movies I enjoy. The theme was A-Z. So, this year, I was struggling. It really didn’t feel like Christmas. Not to be deterred, I ended up with a fun little theme; Breaking News with a holiday theme. The idea was simple. Act as a news anchor reporting of classic characters in the neighborhood.
My first was talking about Frosty the Snowman
The following Friday I ended up talking about a sighting of a certain deer. A warning was given to viewers.
And the last one was about a man breaking into homes.
I said, this year, the FFT stood for “Festive Friday Theater”. Does it really matter? It’s my thing. I don’t have to answer to no one. You either like it or it’s just not your thing. My goal is to entertain. That’s my Christmas gift to you.
